Redirecting from a Former Name to the Current Name One of the most common uses of NGINX rewrite rules is to capture deprecated or nonstandard versions of a website’s domain name and redirect them to the current name. Here’s a very simple example that redirects clients to a new domain name: server Examples – Standardizing the Domain Name You enclose the return in a server or location context that specifies the URLs to be rewritten, and it defines the corrected (rewritten) URL for the client to use in future requests for the resource. ![]() The return directive is the simpler of the two general‑purpose directives and for that reason we recommend using it instead of rewrite when possible (more later about the why and when). Let’s review what the directives do and how they differ. The two directives for general‑purpose NGINX rewrite are return and rewrite, and the try_files directive is a handy way to direct requests to application servers. We’ll assume you’re familiar with the HTTP response codes and with regular expressions (NGINX and NGINX Plus use the Perl syntax). Note: To learn how to convert Apache HTTP server rewrite rules to NGINX rewrite rules, see our companion blog post, Converting Apache Rewrite Rules to NGINX Rewrite Rules. The try_files directive is often used for this purpose. Blue lantern flash injustice12/31/2023 ![]() ![]() The cast is rarely more than a dozen people in size so as to give a reasonable and equal time for each character. Particularly in the early decades of publication, DC Comics was keen for its superheroes to be perceived as law-abiding because children were the main audience. government or the United Nations so as to receive their sanction. The Justice League is an independent group, although it usually accepts some constraints from the U.S. This was done to emulate the model of Marvel Comics' X-Men comic books, whose stories were more character-driven and which favored more obscure or new characters. The advantage of this was that lesser-known characters are not burdened by convoluted continuities, which gave writers more creative flexibility to write character-driven stories. DC Comics has in several periods deviated from this formula, most notably in the late 1980s and early 1990s with books such as Justice League International, which deliberately featured a cast of lesser-known characters. Most versions of the Justice League feature a select cast of highly popular characters from the DC Comics portfolio, such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, to attract readers with their star power and they often co-feature a few lesser-known characters who benefit from exposure, such as Cyborg or Black Canary. This is in contrast to teams such as the X-Men or the Fantastic Four, who normally operate as a team and for whom the team is central to their identity. The members of the Justice League are heroes who normally operate independently but who occasionally team up to tackle especially formidable villains. The cast of the Justice League usually features a few highly popular characters who have their own solo books, such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman alongside a number of lesser-known characters who benefit from exposure. This is in contrast to certain other superhero teams such as the X-Men, whose characters were created specifically to be part of the team, with the team being central to their identity. Diegetically, these superheroes usually operate independently but occasionally assemble as a team to tackle especially formidable villains. The Justice League is an all-star ensemble cast of established superhero characters from DC Comics' portfolio. The team was conceived by writer Gardner Fox as a revival of the Justice Society of America, a similar team from DC Comics from the 1940s which had been pulled out of print due to a decline in sales. The team first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #28 (March 1960). The Justice League is a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The contender is picked by the most recently recruited lantern and taken to the Blue Lantern Headquarters on the planet Odym. The Blue Lantern Corps recruitment process is unique in that it takes three days, rather than being instantaneous like some other corps'. While an entirely separate corps, the Blue Lanterns are meant to aid other benevolent wielders of the emotional spectrum rather than replace them. The Blue Lantern Power Rings are fueled by the emotion of hope, and were created out of Ganthet and Sayd's hope for the future. At the end of the war with the Sinestro Corps, and after being banished from the Guardians of the Universe for their individuality, Ganthet and Sayd started the Blue Lantern Corps. ![]() Encore bet songs12/31/2023 ![]() ![]() Tune into Entertainment Tonight on Friday (check your local listings here) for more. ![]() "This one is a MUST SEE and thank demanding this show to see the light of the day!"īET Presents The Encore premieres June 9 at 10 p.m. BET Presents The Encore premieres June 9 at 10 p.m. "We did it, Joe! Cube litening c 68x12/31/2023 ![]() I liked the wide, flat tops of the aero bars they’re comfortable to rest your hands on, distributing pressure well. This certainly felt like the Litening’s natural environment, unlike its predecessor, which would have been a little laboured at such speeds on fast flat roads. Hitting the gas on flat rides the bikes easily hits a 40kph speed, that isn’t usually my bad when it comes to riding bikes. It’s a bike that wants to be ridden fast. Running a wider rear tyre doesn’t impact aerodynamics though. There’s clearance for 28mm tyres and some 30mm tyres will fit when paired with some rims.īut it says that it found optimum aerodynamics with narrower front tyres and says that it’s important to preserve the gap between the fork crown and the tyre to keep the aero benefits when this gap is too narrow, additional turbulence and drag ensue. But Cube looked to add compliance, building 20 prototypes to optimise the carbon lay-up while maintaining strength and safety.Ĭube has aero tested the Litening C:68X with a range of wheelsets and tyres. Because of their wider section, aero posts often transmit road buzz and bumps to the saddle. Plus it’s compatible with K-Edge adapters for Lezyne units and GoPros.Ĭube has worked on the Litening C:68X’s seatpost design too. It comes with an adaptor for Wahoo Elemnt computers as well as Garmin units. So Cube has developed its own Garmin mount that positions the computer lower down and out of the airflow. There’s not much point in having an aero cockpit if a bike computer sticks up above it and disrupts the airflow. But it says that, as with the Scott Addict, there’s enough room to use mechanical cables to the shifters too. ![]() So far, all of Cube’s Litening C:68X test bikes have been built up with electronic transmissions, either cabled or wireless, including the SRAM Red eTap AXS-equipped bikes that we tested at the launch. ![]() That results in quite a chunky profile to the stem and Cube has included a stop to prevent the bars from rotating too far and damaging the cables. But Cube has passed the cables and brake hoses round the sides of the steerer tube, entering the frame behind it. Hidden cables normally pass either in front of the headset bearings or through them. With the round section of external cables generating significant drag, it’s an area where there are still aero benefits that manufacturers are now looking to exploit. Like many of the latest crop of bikes, including the just-launched Scott Addict RC and Wilier Zero SLR climber’s bikes, Cube has also enhanced its cockpit integration, with a one-piece bar/stem and internal cable routing. And Cube 3D printed many different bar shapes and wind tunnel tested them. So the head tube, for example, is waisted. Note: all test results above are from a 75kg, 183cm rider holding 300W steady using Zwift’s stock 32mm carbon wheelset.Cube concentrated on reducing the Litening C:68X’s frontal area, again while skimming the UCI regs. By comparison, the fastest climber in game ( Specialized Aethos) completes the test is 48:50. The Cube Litening C:68X currently turns in an Alpe climb time of 49:14.5. But as we said with the just-released Chapter2 TOA, that’s all silly talk until Zwift gets the bug fixed. Without the bug, the frame would theoretically climb around 19 seconds faster, which would boost it to the top 5 overall climbing rankings. It turns in the same time as the Giant Propel Advanced SL Disc, ranking in the lower 40th percentile. Climb Performanceĭue to Zwift’s Dura-Ace 9200 bug (see “Still Not Fixed” note at bottom of page here), we already knew the Litening C:68X wouldn’t be winning any hill climbs. By comparison, the fastest frame in Zwift ( Cervelo S5 2020) turns in a time of 51:17.5 on our test course, which is two laps of Tempus Fugit, totaling 34.6km. Its test time of 51:34 is just 2 seconds faster than the default Zwift Carbon frame given to all Zwifters. The Litening C:68X turns in a poor aero performance, matching the previous Litening precisely and thus falling into the lower 23% of frames. Here’s everything you need to know about the performance of the new Cube Litening C:68X frame in Zwift. So we ran the new Litening through our standard battery of tests. Of course, Zwift’s star ratings aren’t precise enough to communicate actual performance in game. ![]() It is rated 2 stars (!) for aero and 3 for weight, which immediately made us question just how speedy it would be in game. This frame is priced at 373,500 Drops and level-locked at 32. It certainly looks sweet… and fast! The Cube Litening C:68X Race in real life We’re not sure if the “hot knife through butter” analogy was the best choice, but clearly Cube thinks their latest Litening is one fast machine. ![]() Stem gitar online microphone12/31/2023 ![]() ![]() These references have information on piezoelectricity and piezoelectric sensors:.This project is based on a website by Adam Kumpf, a former student in Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Lab:.How does a piezoelectric device transduce mechanical strain into an electric current?.Understand the following terms and concepts: To do this project, you should do research that enables you to If you're interested in electronics and like to play acoustic guitar, this could be the perfect project for you. Or you could build a single pickup and compare the performance of the pickup when it is placed in different locations on the underside of the bridge, or with or without foam. You could also compare the performance of your homemade pickup with the performance of a professionally-designed piezoelectric pickup. For example, you could purchase several different piezoelectric elements with different specifications, and compare their performance as pickup devices. There are several different experiments you could try with this project. In this project, you'll learn how to make a piezoelectric pickup for an acoustic guitar, using inexpensive components that you can find at your local Radio Shack store. Unlike a microphone, with a pickup you will not record extraneous sounds from elsewhere in the room, just the sound of the acoustic instrument in which the pickup is mounted. With a pickup, the vibrations of the instrument are transduced into an electric current, which is then amplified and recorded. The piezoelectric effect can also be used in electronic pickup devices for recording acoustic instruments. A preamplifier in the phono cartridge of the turntable amplified these tiny currents, which were then further amplified by the stereo amplifier so that we could hear the music through speakers. The pressure transferred to this second crystal creates tiny electric currents due to the piezoelectric effect. The sides of the groove exerted pressure on the stylus, causing it to move a lever which is attached to a second crystal. To play the signal back and hear the music, the record was spun on a turntable, and a diamond stylus on the end of the tone arm would ride through the groove. The audio signal was recorded in grooves cut into the records. Back in the day, before any of us had computers at home, we listened to music on vinyl records. ![]() Cowboys defense roster12/30/2023 ![]() ![]() Noah Brown is poised for a much bigger role this season, particularly to start out. Turpin has the qualities to impose some pretty nightmarish matchups on defenses, and Kellen Moore could maximize that potential. Turpin has already made his name known as a returner, but perhaps could also carve out a role in the offense. The young and unproven will certainly get their shots in meaningful moments over the season. It’s also far from the most experienced group, which has been a point of concern all off-season. Washington’s move to IR means this position group is not nearly as heavy as it may appear at first glance. An amazing development, but fans still shouldn’t expect to see Gallup before Week 3 or so. That’s less than 8 months removed from an ACL injury, by the way. Gallup has astoundingly passed his physical and will forego the PUP list to start the season. There will undoubtedly be a more moves by the Dallas Cowboys, but the final roster appears clear enough to analyze who might be taking the field come Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The two spots those moves opened were quickly filled by special teamers C.J.
